Anybody know of gps software and reciever that lets you record new roads?

I've got a farm with lots of woods full of roads and I'd like to map them so we can make sure they are maintained. I'm looking for software that will let me walk/ride along the roads and the unit will record the road and then can be uploaded to a computer and put on a map. I've done lots of google searches but haven't been able to find anything.

Almost every handheld GPS on the market will allow you to export to a format that Google Earth will accept. You can then see your recorded tracks on some great satellite photography.

Look for the ability to "Export Track as GPX, KML or KMZ". If it has that ability then the GPS will work for what you want it for.
