can I buy a sportster engine rebuild kit?

Have a 1988 sportster and have low oil pressure and I need to rebuild bottom end with bearings. Is there preferred vendor that sells a complete engine rebuild kit ..bearings, bushings, piston, crank pins, rods...etc.. What would you suggest. Do I have to buy the parts individually or what?

Email me trhough my profile with more info on your diagnosis of low oil pressure. A COMPLETE engine rebuild including rod and crank bearings is NOT something the average person can do at home, it REQUIRES re-trueing (and for PROPER procedure, rebalancing) the flywheels. Bottom-end rebuilds are rarely needed, the tope-end must first come off and rods checked for up & down play, side-play and end-play, THIS will tell you if you need to rebuild the bottom end....which is EXPENSIVE...in all honesty, it will cost as much if not more than the bike is worth....it is easier and cheaper to replace the crank assy, not rebuild it.
