How do you tell if ignition coil is weak?

I have a 1993 dodge dakota. 3.9 litre v-6. sometimes it seems like it has a slight miss. I have put on new pickup coil, wires, distributor,rotor, and spark plugs. What next? I have always believed the ignition coil works correctly or it doesnt work at all. any suggestions. Wires are on correctly and double checked gap on plugs. Everything there is ok.

a slight miss can be caused by a fuel problem as well, poor injector spray, or a restricted fuel filter. An adjustable spark tester can help you check a weak coil. spark should be a crisp blue color, red or orange equals weak coil.
