What are Rv Air Conditioners?

Can an old air conditioner trigger allergies?

My wife and I moved into a new place and ever since we've had the air conditioners on we haven't felt right. We can't tell if it's general allergies or related to the old air conditioner. I've tried to clean the parts I have access to, but it stil send out air that smells like mildew. I imagine this isn't that good for you, but before I ko the air conditioner I am wondering if someone has additional knowledge on this subject. Thanks!

if you smell mildew stop using them now ! mold loves the water from ac units. legionaires starts in ac. if they are expensive units call a heating cooling place to see if they can be properly cleaned , if they are cost effective to replace that is the best option. be sure to clean the filters weekly if on constantly and be sure they have proper drainage. units that are not fitted for draining properly will collect water in the casing and you will be back where you are now.
