Is this a bad idea to just replace the clutch disc rather than the whole kit, ie new pressure plate, bearing, etc?

I have a 94 4-runner in the last leg it. I have replaced the clutches before and have noticed that most of all wearing the clutch is on the disk itself, usually the pressure plate looks good flywheel only and may appear again if necessary. A new clutch disc will only cost $ 50, in which the clutch kit will cost $ 200. Clutch is now only beginning to slip. I just hoping to get another 15-20 thousand miles of this vehicle. Have you ever heard of anyone just replace the clutch disc. I know the answer most people would give is to say that if you take the time to reduce the transmission to replace all the parts in the clutch kit will benefit you in the long run. The problem is I do not think this vehicle has long-term in front of it and I do not want to put more money into it than I should. What do you think?

I've just come back of the flywheel and replaced only disc multiple times. Never had a problem. If you throw-out bearing is not noisy at that sad, no doubt it's okay. Inspection fast as to become free and smooth turning on handling it will tell you. If this connection is bad or harsh sounds, changing the pilot bearing too.
