Located on the Irish Sea Coast is an absolute jewel of a town. At the north end of town you will come upon Hesketh Park. This 12 hectare park is home to a stunning observatory, miniature golf course, children's train that runs daily, walking paths, biking paths and wildlife. The ponds, Victorian gardens, aviary, rock gardens, glass houses and more provide the visitor hours of enjoyment. The Annual Flower Show held each year and the Botanical Gardens are a delight that brings entertainment, booths, food, and fun to everyone who participates.
The annual festivals and events are abundant throughout the year. A great Air Show, Classical Music Concert and Beer Festival with over seventy beers, food, games, and entertainment bring people from all over the region. Attending the Annual Musical Fireworks Championship will astound you with participants attending from all over the world, you will enjoy wonderful music and entertainment, plays, comedy and fun.
The Model Railway Village is maintained by a wonderful couple that are happy to share information about the village. There are marvelous trains, complete landscape and fascinating buildings spread over a 45mm garden. It is very easy to spend an entire day at the village. However, if you want to enjoy some fun swimming, there is Splash World at the indoor water park that is another day of total fun and enjoyment.
Water skiing, rowing, cycling and sailing is always available at the Marine Lake. A person who enjoys the water will be able to enjoy watersports all over Southport. Then, there is the stunning Victorian buildings, theatre, Meol's Hall, breath taking gardens and wonderful shops and galleries. The Atkinson Art Gallery is filled with beautiful Victorian and 20th century oil painting and watercolors. There are many pieces of 19th century art at the gallery and a great little shop right next to it to spend some time.
A beautifully restored 400 year old barn is a must see. The Tithe Barn is surrounded by 100 acres of parkland and over two thousand acres of wildlife refuge. A great place with paths and walkways that create a wonderful step back in time. When you visit Southport - Merseyside you will not run out of things to do and see. The people are wonderful and the hotels, B&Bs and self-catering flats are wonderful.
Wrong Portal Textures in VALvEs Game?
Hello everybody, when i play my copy of portal
it always has different textures on the portals themselves then on all of the youtube videos and trailers
My portals look like this:

Also i realised that in that picture and mine the portal aiming thing in the middle is different
anyone know why and how both can be changed/fixed?
i would probablyy say theactual portal would be more compulsory then the target thingy.
(please don't say things like; i don't know, ask valves support or yea anything like that unless it actually useful)
o yea its on the PC and yes i am using the black portal-gun mod. can anyone else make sure this is 100% right and its not just graphics settings or something like that?
You didn't say what platform you are playing portal on. I have the orange box for xbox 360, and it comes bundled with portal. My portals look like the second picture link. Your portal gun also looks black, which leads me to believe you used the black gun mod. Again, this is all speculation based on the info you gave. So here is my theory.
You are playing portal on the pc, and the trailers and videos you are watching were played on the xbox. Different games, possibly different graphics.
